Here are a few of my favourite indicators that I watch relating to the trend of real estate in Te Atatu Peninsula. The moving average reduces the noise or chop and gives a clearer picture of what is going on. The lockdown doesn’t even seem to register.

Although the moving average median price has been trending down since Febuary 2017, but since Feb 20 the median has sky rocketed. I feel that all the developer sales are pulling up the median substantially.


Looking at moving average the number of houses sold has been rising.


Looking at moving average the days to sell a house is fairly flat but did spike due to the lockdown of Covid-19 but seems to be on its way down again.


Auckland Region – Median Price still rising.


Auckland Region – Number of Sales remains steady.


Auckland Region – Days on the market remains roughly the same.
